The Ogier family, originally from Côte-Rôtie, has lived on the lands of the property for more than 6 generations.

Domaine Michel and Stéphane Ogier is located in Ampuis, the cradle of the greatest wines of the Rhône Valley. Stéphane took over from his father Michel in 1997, after studying oenology in Beaune.

The Domaine Michel and Stéphane Ogier vineyard now has 11 hectares of vines on a terroir made up of schist and granite, including 3.5 hectares in the Côte-Rôtie appellation, spread over ideally located plots. Stéphane Ogier is committed to cultivating his vineyard in the most reasoned way possible, carrying out manual harvesting, and paying particular attention to the control of his aging, a true signature of the assertive and authentic character of the wines produced.
