Launched in 2017, Pastis 1811 is a traditional pastis obtained by maceration and distillation (under controlled temperature) of various rigorously selected seeds and plants (wormwood, mugwort, gentian, liquorice, star anise, etc.).

Its recipe strictly respects the original recipe whose manuscript was found in the attics of the Distillerie Lemercier Frères, the oldest distillery in Fougerolles, located a stone's throw from the Grandes Distilleries Peureux famous for its Griottines®.

Since 2016, Alain Aureggio – heir to the Lemercier house – has approached the Grandes Distilleries Peureux group in order to benefit from interesting synergies.
