The history of Abuelo rum dates back to 1908 in Panama. The largest distillery in the country, Abuelo rums are sold all over the world.

Still run by the same family, the Abuelo distillery was founded by a young Spanish immigrant. These spirits, distilled in columns, are produced with the greatest respect for traditions and ancestral know-how.

You would think that the best rums come almost exclusively from the Caribbean islands, but not always.

The excellent Ron Abuelo rum, for example, comes from Panama, a country in Central America. The characteristic of this rum nicknamed "Grandfather" is that it is produced with great attention to detail and that it likes to be tasted pure.
