Michel Liessi the owner has managed various wine estates in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Mercurey, Chablis and Sauternes (Château Guiraud). From 1991, he created his own estate, Château du Champ du Moulin, as a side business. He took the grapes to a cooperative until 2013 when he launched his own label.
