Between the banks of the Marne and the slopes of the Montagne de Reims, Aÿ is the oldest famous vineyard in Champagne.

This village is famous for its Pinots Noirs used to produce harmonious and straightforward Champagne wines.

The Maison Deutz, a symbol of great classicism, was founded there in 1838 by William Deutz and Pierre-Hubert Geldermann, both natives of Aix-la-Chapelle. Deutz, recognized for the quality of its Blancs de Noirs and Blancs de Blancs Champagnes, quickly became one of the greatest champagne houses.

Close to their terroir, all Deutz cuvées come only from the first press, a purer and finer juice, thus producing balanced and full-bodied Champagnes that the consumer will have great pleasure in tasting.
