French whiskey from Brittany - Naguelann

Naguelann is a brand of Breton Whiskey created in April 2014 by Lénaïck Lemaitre; with the aim of developing the first blends of Breton whiskeys, Naguelann has become a beautiful artisanal distillery in the space of 5 years.

The chronology of this transformation is materialized by a desire to accomplish and optimize the stages one by one, starting in the winery (2014) to end in the barley fields (2021).

Today, Naguelann distills and blends a range of Whiskeys under the watchful eye of Lénaïck, guaranteeing the quality and authenticity of its Breton Whiskies.

Nagelann's signature is "Dour, Koad, Gedal". Which means Water, Wood and Time in Breton.

Naguelann Mesk is a cuvée which means mixture in Breton. Mesk implies that the cuvée contains buckwheat (20%) and malt (80%).

Mesk is a blend of Whiskey that has been aged in Sauvignon barrels (Loire), in Bordeaux Saint Emilion Grand Cru barrels, in Saint Nicolas de Bourgueil barrels and in Quarter Casks (bourbon) barrels.
