The dairy has been located in Echiré, in Deux-Sèvres since 1894. It was installed next to a flour mill with an abundant and very pure source of water.
The entire production of Echiré butter is supervised by a master butter maker in order to offer you high quality products throughout the year. The unique taste and texture that you find in the butters of Echiré are due to the churning of the creams in a wooden churn, an ancestral know-how of which the butter factory of Echiré is one of the last cooperatives to use.
