ALL AROUND THE WORLD, LOTUS BISCOFF IS LOVED FOR ITS UNIQUE TASTE.

The caramelized taste and the unique crunch of the original Lotus Biscoff are appreciated by young and old everywhere on the planet. This great pride shared by everyone at Lotus Bakeries drives us to maintain the same level of requirement and know-how and this has always been the case.

REAL FAMILY KNOW-HOW

In 1932 in the bakery of a small village in the heart of Belgium Jan Boone Sr. creates a delicious caramelized biscuit from good ingredients. He then decides to call it Lotus in reference to his favorite flower symbol of purity.

COFFEE + LOTUS = THE PERFECT WEDDING

In the 1950s, to promote the good conservation of his cookies, Jan Boone Sr. began to wrap them individually. They are then adopted with enthusiasm by the restaurateurs who serve them as an accompaniment to coffee. It's an immediate success because the coffee and the little biscuit with a deliciously caramelized note have perfectly complementary profiles. They mutually enhance their flavors.

THE ORIGINAL LOTUS BISCOFF CONQUERS THE WORLD

Over the years the popularity of The Original Lotus Biscoff has grown far beyond our borders. Now coffee lovers around the world are cracking and crunching Lotus with their latte or espresso. A name is then chosen to conquer new fans internationally: "Biscoff" the perfect combination of "BIScuit" and "COFFee".

SOME THINGS NEVER CHANGE AND THAT'S GREAT!

Even today Lotus Bakeries remains a family business based in its small native village. The ingredients of the original Lotus Biscoff are still as good as ever, its taste remains unique and crunchier than ever. It is now 6 billion cookies that come out of the oven each year to be savored on 6 continents.

MUCH MORE THAN A COOKIE

The original Lotus Biscoff has become much more than your coffee's best companion. Inspired by its taste and texture, creative chefs use it as an ingredient for delicious recipes and desserts, such as tiramisu or Lotus Biscoff mousse.
