The monks of the abbey of Sept-Fons produce delicious products
On the banks of the Loire, on the borders of the departments of Allier, Saône et Loire and Nièvre, is the abbey of Notre-Dame de Sept-Fons.
Today, the abbey has 85 young and energetic monks who come from all over the world. They are "Trappists" and therefore follow the rule of Saint Benedict.
On the prayer side, they have eight offices a day (the first at 3:30 a.m.); and on the work side, they are pros in agriculture with their dairy cows, their cereals, their hives, and their large vegetable garden!
