Visit of Charles III: discover the menu of the state dinner at the Palace of Versailles.
The British sovereign and his wife Queen Camilla, who will dine on Wednesday evening in the Hall of Mirrors at the Palace of Versailles , will be served seafood, poultry, and will finish with a sweet note by Pierre Hermé.
Here is the full menu:
- Flat
Bresse poultry with corn flavor with a porcini gratin.
- Cheese
Thirty-month Comté, goat's cheese log and stilchelton (an English blue cheese).
- Dessert
Ispahan biscuit – a creation by Pierre Hermé – revisited with a pink macaroon base and a lychee sorbet.
The entry will be made by Anne-Sophie Pic, the only French chef with three Michelin stars for her restaurant in Paris. The main course, for its part, will be by Yannick Alléno. The Ispahan is one of Pierre Hermé's flagship creations. It’s a macaron and rose-flavored cream, garnished with fresh raspberries and lychees.
