 We call it maurette, wild grape, black mouth, cousin, cornflower… 

 Used since the 10th century in Europe to treat dysentery or diarrhea, blueberries come from Europe and North America. 

  There, the Native Americans considered it a divine plant because of its five-branched star-shaped flowers. According to them, it was sent by the gods to alleviate hunger. They prepared a kind of cake by mixing it with corn, water and honey. 

 Blueberries are easily found in the wild, in the undergrowth. It grows on small shrubs. It is harvested using a special comb. 

  Blueberry pie recipe
 Ingredients :
 - 1 shortcrust pastry
 - 3 tbsp of breadcrumbs
 - 450 gr of blueberries
 - 120 g of sugar 

Spread the dough in a mold and prick the bottom
Sprinkle the bottom with breadcrumbs (to absorb the juice)
Arrange the blueberries then the sugar on top
Bake at 190°C for 40 min
