Château Respide-Medeville is the property of the Gonet-Medeville vineyards, which own many wine estates. Let us quote for example the champagnes of the same name, the castle Gillette in Sauternes or the castle of Eyrins in Margaux.

Château Respide-Médeville sits atop a beautiful gravelly hilltop north of Langon with a superb view of the Garonne. The 15 hectares of the vineyard are cultivated according to the principles of the reasoned fight which excludes the use of chemical inputs for a work that respects the vine and the environment. The grape varieties are Merlot and Cabernet Franc for the reds and Sauvignon, Sémillon and Muscadelle for the whites.

In the vineyards and in the cellar, we find the same gestures, the same choices as in the other Gonet estates, for wines of great finesse that elegantly speak of the terroirs from which they come. The vinifications are traditional, with aging in barrels and a proportion of new wood ranging from one third to 100%.
