Tobiko, very popular in Japan and often mistakenly called Japanese caviar, is made from the eggs of flying fish.

Larger than smelt roe but smaller than salmon roe, these roe have a characteristic texture that crunches slightly to the bite.

With its beautiful color, this Tobiko can be used for making toast, sushi, a sauce or even as an accompaniment to a fish dish or as a decoration for example.
