 The Norman heart is certainly the best known of all, it is the only PDO that takes the shape of a heart! 

  Norman cheese quite similar to Camembert, but slightly saltier, its smooth and creamy paste develops tender aromas of butter and fresh mushrooms. 

 The legend says that it was the young girls of Neufchâtel-en-Bray who offered it to their English lovers during the Hundred Years War, while others see it in the shape of the wings of an angel.
