Pariani is a family business that began its activity in 2010 with the production, thanks to an innovative cold pressing system in collaboration with the Faculty of Agriculture of Turin, of an award-winning hazelnut oil made exclusively with "Hazelnuts from Piedmont" PGI

The company's motto, "Research and Excellence", reflects its "mission": to create unusual products and ingredients, to satisfy the most demanding palates and the most creative recipes.

Thus, after the immediate success of hazelnut oil with professionals in the sector, a whole range of strictly Italian dried fruit oils was created, selected by trusted producers, and declined in all variants: grains, flours , pure pasta.

In the following years, the catalog was completed with a wide range of candied and semi-candied fruits and vegetables, natural essences and finished products such as spreads, pralines and the Sbrisolina cake created in collaboration with maestro Luigi Biasetto.

THE TERRITORY

Not one, but several companies: it is the innovative concept of Pariani which, with targeted agreements, has been extended to the Italian regions where the products are grown and partly processed.

In Cortemilia in the heart of the Langhe where the “Hazelnut of Piedmont IGP” is grown, in Bronte the “Pistachio Verde di Bronte” DOP, in the Val di Noto the almond, the Pisan coast for the pine nut and Veneto for the “Lara " walnut.

The heart of the company is in Givoletto, on the outskirts of Turin, with the offices, the pressing laboratory, the warehouses, the shop and the tasting room. But strength and security also come from the “human garrisons”: the peasants who, in Piedmont, Veneto, Tuscany and Sicily, work the orchards that guarantee the quality of the raw materials. PARIANI : it starts with hazelnuts from Piedmont

Pariani's new challenge is to make its customers discover and highlight the faces and names of the farmers who cultivate the "Hazelnut of Piedmont" IGP, which is then transformed into oil, grain, flour and pasta.

It is indeed much more than a short chain: it is the direct contact between those who cultivate and those who buy. The true guarantors of the quality of the raw material are the "human principals", custodians of a unique knowledge that they are happy to share.

Excellence, which is in the company's DNA, is guaranteed by the new Pariani Technical Regulations, which go far beyond the IGP "Piedmont Hazelnut" Regulations, requiring the verification of specific production parameters with a " sensory analysis" of shape, color and flavor to determine the best batches.

The cultivation area - Cortemilia and neighboring municipalities - has been selected for altitude, slope and type of soil to ensure the best possible quality. Production and harvesting take place according to good agricultural practices, drying follows high standards of hygiene and safety.

With this sector, Pariani guarantees the quantities of product requested by its customers: the winegrowers - about forty - who have joined the project, in fact undertake to sell them all or part of their harvest, on the basis of individual contracts. If the product does not comply with the subscribed standards, it will be rejected.

Pariani's challenge does not stop, continuing the project in Sicily, towards Bronte.
