In the heart of the Périgord Noir, the Domaine de Vielcroze perpetuates the know-how of walnuts and truffles, emblems of a Périgord region that we celebrate.
Equipped with a modern press, the first prototype of so-called "cold" pressing, the Huilerie d'Aiguevive has enabled the Vielcroze estate to modernize, increase its production (up to 1,200 kg of kernels pressed in one day) and to diversify, while preserving the quality of Aiguevive Walnut Oil, with a milder taste and a fresh, fruity flavour.
Aiguevive Walnut Oil is made from premium walnut kernels from local production or from COOP CERNO Périgord. Carefully selected, they are ground, lightly heated in a hot air tunnel and then pressed. The oil is then decanted for two weeks, filtered and then bottled, without additives or preservatives.
