 Monday March 27 was National Cheese Day!  

 This year again, National Cheese Day highlights rare cheeses, small raw milk productions, everywhere in France. 

 National Cheese Day, created in 2001, will take place across France on March 27, to remind consumers and gourmets that French raw milk cheese is an important national issue. 

 GOOD  more than a food product, it symbolizes our culture, our know-how, the diversity and color of our land, the variety of animal breeds that have shaped the landscape, our gastronomic reputation around the world. 

 If no one is surprised to see wine placed among the great cultural products, what about cheese? Who knows the great vintage cheeses? Where do you find cheese menus in restaurants and wine merchants who advise customers? Is there a specialized press dedicated to cheese? 

 The association alerts French citizens to the trivialization of this product, which is nevertheless highly symbolic of a multi-secular heritage. 

 Twenty years since the Association created this citizen and festive event for the recognition of raw milk cheese, for the maintenance of the confidential and artisanal productions which constitute the base of our agri-food history.
