This traditional cheese is the expression of a terroir, with its more concentrated, more intense flavors accompanied by fruity notes. The tommette de brebis is made in the heart of the Pyrénées-Atlantiques, near the small village of Espelette, famous for its chilli.
It is only natural that the producer added peppers to his cheese, but also peppers, which give it its orange-red color.
