The “Black Nature” Ibérico Pork! The black Iberian pig is an indigenous breed of Mediterranean origin from southwestern Spain. 

It is one of the last species of pig raised outdoors in Europe. It evolves and develops in total freedom in the "Dehesas" sparse meadows of holm oaks, sessile and cork oaks. It feeds on grass, aromatic plants (thyme, rosemary, etc.), natural foods (cereals) and “belletas” (oak acorns) in the last months of rearing.

The Ibérico pork is a meat with unsaturated fatty acids delivering a melting and a unique nutty taste. This exceptional breed has a great capacity for accumulating fat under its skin and between the muscle fibres. This fat is visible as typical white streaks making the meat “marbled” or “marbled”.
