This red-stemmed rhubarb of the Frambosa variety was selected by Maison Ponthier for its tangy sweetness and rich in fibre. Cultivated in the south of Poland on the black soil of a continental climate in the spring, it was freshly harvested when ripe. It is then delicately stripped and cut below the leaves and above the uprooting cut in order to preserve its petioles or mark them with brown.
