Fresh Granny Smith Green Apple Purée - 1kg

Maison Ponthier specifically chose a Granny Smith apple grown at an altitude of 400m at the foot of Mont d'Or. Indeed, the terroir of the low alpine soils, deep and fertile, offers alluvial and colluvial qualities ideal for fruit growing. Not chilly but sensitive to extreme cold, the apple tree needs a winter period but fears spring frosts. The sunny climate of southeastern France gives the Granny Smith apple its tangy, juicy and fragrant character. We recognize the Granny Smith from Haute Provence by its very tonic character: firm, crunchy and acidic flesh, thick, smooth and shiny skin, without dark spots, bright green in color. PONTHIER puree marvelously restores the texture of the fruit, its sweet and sour flavor with citrus flavors and its vegetable aromas.

INGREDIENTS: Green apples (90%), Pure cane sugar, antioxidant: ascorbic acid, acidifier: citric acid, nettle extract.
