To source its pineapples, Maison Ponthier has selected Costa Rica. Indeed, the pineapple grows mainly in the hot regions of the southern hemisphere. It should be noted that the cultivation of this exotic fruit requires unique know-how: the plant must be fertilized and then harvested at the right time to guarantee all its flavor. Thus the pineapples worked by PONTHIER combine many qualities: a high sugar level, an absence of acidity, a sunny yellow color, a fruity taste and a fibrous texture completely faithful to that of fresh fruit. The pineapples selected to produce the PONTHIER puree are grown in lush greenery, the fruits are picked there by hand.
