The hams bearing this designation are among the best hams in the world. They come from purebred Iberian pigs "pata negra" and fed on acorns (bellota) that they find in the "dehesa", stony meadows planted with oaks in which they live freely. This feed guarantees them a thick and tasty fat, characteristic of Bellota 100% Ibérico ham, with a tasty flavor of hazelnut.
