The Porc Noir de Bigorre is the native pig present in the central Pyrenees since time immemorial. Recognizable by its black coat and its horizontal ears, the Noir de Bigorre pig is a purebred pig that lives freely in its territory of origin, Bigorre, on the borders of the Hautes Pyrénées, Gers and Haute Garonne, taking advantage of a healthy diet based on the natural resources of its environment: grass, acorn, chestnut, triticale grown in the geographical area, and other resources of the environment.
No GMOs. It grows in the pasture on courses made up of grass and bordered by hedges, trees and/or undergrowth.
