Thai chives, is also called Kui chai in Thai, or green onion. This type of Asian aromatic herb resembles the chives found in the West, but differs from the latter by its head, which is eaten like the rest of the plant. The taste of Thai chives is slightly stronger than that of chives found in France.

The flavor is close to garlic. In terms of shape, Thai chives resemble a flat onion, with a white, elongated bulb, and very tasty long dark green leaves.
