Sage is an aromatic plant native to the edges of the Mediterranean. From the Latin salvare, which means to heal, it has been considered since Antiquity as a medicinal plant, in particular thanks to its high vitamin K content. Sage enhances the flavors of many meat dishes in sauce but also rice and pasta.

It goes marvelously well with a focaccia and a stuffing, seasons a vinaigrette and enhances the taste of many vegetables such as squash, aubergine and potato.
